Our Process… From College Exploration to College Acceptances

Marilyn O’Toole has visited over 230 colleges and universities. Meeting with admissions officers provides the ability to understand each colleges’ priorities, which is an invaluable resource in the admissions process by comparing and contrasting institutions.

The College Consortium encourages families to make college visits starting in high school. We also understand that there are limitations to travel due to time and finances.

Physically seeing the campuses and dormitories, listening to academic presentations, visiting the surrounding college community and observing the overall feel of the campus and students, allows me to provide the student and family with a contextual understanding of the college. Current information and trends, touring the campuses, meeting with admissions offices as well as observing campus life helps share a more accurate understanding of a university that may not be apparent on a website.
